Alloy Wheel Repair Process

Alloy wheels look great on all cars but when scuffed can look tatty which affects the entire cars look. Keeping your alloy wheels scuff free can be difficult in this day and age for the tyres are thinner which sit behind the wheel itself so when you come into contact with an object like a kerb it’s the alloy wheel that hits it first for it’s the furthest protruding part of the whole wheel assembly.

This customer scuffed his alloy wheel on a kerb while trying to pass another car in a tight road. He contacted us through email and sent a photo of the damage. After looking at the photo closely we replied back within 24 hours with a price and a date and time for the repair.

Alloy Wheel Damage

As you can see from the photo, the impact with the kerb has taken off some of the alloy on the rim of the wheel and scuffed the outer edge.
The kerbed alloy required some filling with specific alloy wheel filler and primed. It took 1 hour to complete the alloy wheel repair and was drivable straight away.
